Valera, singer: The three albums that are a big influence to me at this moment, when it comes to singing, and writing a song, are: The Flood by a band named Of Mice & Men, The Fallout by a band named Crown The Empire, and What eparates Me From !ou "y a band named # $ay To %emember& These three albums help me, and inspire me to write my own songs& ' feel identified with these three albums and bands, and the message behind their music and lyrics& The way ' sing, and the way these three different artists sing, is (ery similar, because ' loo) up to them, hoping to be li)e them in the future& My reflexion: This has been a big surprise because '-(e seen a lo of clear (oices that reminds me a lot of 'oseba& $aniel is the screamer and he ne(er ma)es clear (oices so ' was surprised when ' found that this album was one of his influences& ' can imagine that in the future the contrast between the screams of $aniel and the clear (oice of 'oseba might become more common in our songs& #part from the singer, the music is Metalcore at its best& 't-s not my Band:# $ay To fa(orite style .this is the first time ' actually listen Metalcore/, but our %emember music is, at least, 0+1 Metalcore so is important for me to start to listen Album: What eparates this )ind of bands, ' can learn a lot from them& Me From !ou Year: *+,+ Style: Metalcore My thoughts: More pure Metalcore that brings again the contrast between clear (oices and screams& #s ' said in the other albums, this is not a musical style that ' specially en2oy listening, it-s funnier to play than it is to listen& The album is pretty con(entional, (ery modern and american& $aniel really lo(es this )ind of music and ' thin) he brings the best of it and, in the band, we mi3 with the other influences to ma)e our own style& Band:Crown The Empire Album: The Fallout Year: *+,* Style: Metalcore

This is the album that ' li)ed the most from $aniel-s influences& E(en if it-s still con(entional Metalcore ' thin) it sounded better than the other two albums& ' was surprised again for the (oices, $aniel usually screams in a lower (oice than the ones in 4 The flood"# and ' prefer his style& The music is nice to hear but nothing really special or spectacular in any of the instruments& The bass is in the line of the other two albums, hidden behind the guitars and acting as a sound filler& Band: Of Mice & Men Album: The Flood Year: 2 !! Style: Metalcore #fter listening to this three albums ' can understand why this style is becoming so famous& 't has a lot of energy and connects with the youth& 't has been a great disco(ery to )now Metalcore better, ' will )eep this albums and listen to them from time to time&
