U.S. History and Political Science (12 hours, 6 hours of history and 6 hours of political science)
a. HIST 105 and 106 or other courses in American and Texas history, except that courses pertaining solely to Texas history may not comprise more than 3 hours. American and/or Texas History courses that satisfy the International and Cultural Diversity requirement include: HIST 258, 301, 305, 307, 319, 343, 451, 455,460, 461, 473.

International and Cultural Diversity, ICD (6 hours).


a. Complete list on pg. 20 of the Undergraduate Catalog b. Courses in red listed above for VPA and SBS will also satisfy the 6 hour International and Cultural Diversity requirement. For example, if a student takes ARTS 150 and ANTH 210, then that student has satisfied the International and Cultural Diversity requirement as well as the Visual and Performing Arts requirement and the Social and Behavioral Sciences requirement. Therefore, students should choose at least two of the courses in red, from two different sections, if they want to avoid taking additional hours. Those listed in tables above are not all of the ICD courses available. Please see the catalog.
