INTRODUCTION

Every year as summer approaches, areas around the world grow concerned about seasonal drought. There are areas where drought is a regular year to year occurrence that lasts longer than just the summer. Philippines are one of these areas that experiences this season. It can impact crop production and cause changes to the natural distribution of various species. Distribution of water to a plantation must be increased drastically to secure food production for future generation. The general approach is to avoid water loss and to ensure that all distributed water is being utilized by the crop. By this Water Regulator System, it will help the farmers to fight this season because this system will provide water needed for the plant to remain its vitality and maintain the crops yield.

BACKGROUND SITUATION/ANALYSIS

Philippines are one of those areas that can experience summer season which may become as drought season. Shortages in precipitation, changes in evapo transpiration, and reduced ground water levels can create stress and problem for the crops. To secure our food production for future generations, the distribution of water to a plantation must be increased drastically as this season experienced. The Water Regulator System prompted to help the farmers to fight from the damages caused by this season. This device also controls the water flow in a plantation which helps farmers to save water.

IV.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES

To create a system that controls the distribution of water in a plantation. To design a regulator that conserve water and helps to fight the drought experienced by the country.

STRATEGIES Prepare all the materials needed. Find location in a plantation to put the pipes and tubes.

V.

DESIRED IMPACT AND OUTCOME OF THE PROJECT

This system has a great effect in our economy. It increases crop yield in spite of experiencing the seasonal drought. It gives a solution in a continuous increasing demand of the food and to the improvement, sustainability and efficiency of the agricultural sector. And it also saves water as you start The following are the specific measures to sustain the system: System regularly maintained and checked for leaks Nozzles and other applicators regularly calibrated Checked for evenness of application

VI.

RISK MANAGEMENT PLAN

There are risk and factors that may hamper or hinder the successful implementation of this system. One of these is the lack of control over the project team from the decentralization of decisionmaking and subsequent ineffective ratification of decisions, there should be an approval rights on all significant decisions. Another is the large expenditures for the acquisition of the hardware, software, and implementation cost. Otherwise find sponsors for the project to minimize the expenditures. Lastly is the weather condition, the weather should be good to avoid the delay of implementation and may cause changes in work plan.
