7hat 7ere 8earnin" Scholastic News9 1his wee% we finished our scholastic news we started !efore the !rea% a!out animals and what they do to "et ready for winter. 7e wor% to"ether with a #artner to create a #icture to e-#lain se2eral new 2oca!ulary words. /t was interestin" to see how each student re#resented these new 2oca!ulary words.
:aily 49 7e ha2e F/N0883 introduced .ead to Someone. 1he students are e-tremely e-cited to finally ha2e the o##ortunity to read their te-t to a friend. 7e will continue to wor% on !uildin" stamina with this new daily until we are #roficient enou"h to ha2e it !e one we can choose on a re"ular !asis. 7e are also continuin" to re2iew all of the other daily 4 choices to hel# us remem!er what it means to !uild stamina the correct way. 7e ha2e started word sorts this wee%. <ach student was #laced in a word sort "rou# that will use direct instruction teachin" to hel# !uild their s#ellin" s%ills which will hel# us out in not only our readin" !ut also our writin". / ha2e already started to see the transfer with se2eral students. 7ay to "o "uys6
