API-650 Tanks for Engineers

API-650 tanks are vertically oriented, aboveground, welded storage tanks for petroleum and other liquid products. They can withstand internal pressures up to 2.5 PSIG and have uniformly supported bottoms. The API-650 standard provides options for engineers to safely design tanks with specifications covering materials like carbon steel and alloys, roof types, temperatures up to 500°F, and seismic loadings. Tanks manufactured according to this standard by LIDE Industries are tested and warranted.

API-650

API-650 Tanks are vertically oriented, aboveground, welded storage tanks. Other important features include ratings for internal pressure that approximates atmospheric pressure up to 2.5 PSIG an a uniformly supported bottom. The API-650 Tank standard is designed to proved industry with a myriad of options that allow engineers to deign tanks to safely and adequately store petroleum, petroleum products, and other liquid products. With its numerous appendices, the API-650 standard accommodates a vast array of engineering specifications ranging from carbon steel, stainless steel and other alloy designs; open top, fixed roof or floating roof designs; high temperature applications up to 500o F and various seismic loadings for field erected and shop built tanks. All API-650 Tanks manufactured by LIDE Industries are tested according to API-650 standards and are covered under LIDEs standard warranty.
