    The Lore of the Potatominers In the first days of the 1.4.2'st century, our god Notch has added something new to our humble world. Our ancestors were a small community living in a nice and cozy town. On a totally normal mining trip a group of miners went into one of the newly found caves. The atmosphere in the cave was creepy and dark. The Monsters were smarter and did not get fooled by any of the tricks and traps set up earlier that day. The Miners were scared. They felt trapped, trapped in a cage full of monsters ready to eat them. The hordes of zombies were coming from all directions and their numbers did not seem to decrease. While having fought more than mined, the group of miners decided to return back to the surface. With their beat up armor and almost no food left they finally reached their Mining Shack. When they were counting to check if everyone got out, they realized that someone was left behind. Wilfred Potato did not make it in time and got stuck in the dark depths of their mine. In the meantime Wilfred was fighting for his life killing zombies here and there. He tried blocking himself in various holes and caves but everytime endermen came and moved the blocks away. Finally he found a Stronghold and seeked safety in one it's chambers. He set up his workbench and furnace and looked to all of his stuff. He ran out of food and the only thing he found were carrots and some yellow tuber looking things. Alot of zombies seemed to drop these and being it his last chance and not being a fan of carrots he cooked those tubers. The walls slowly began to dissapear and the door was nearly broken. When Wilfred Potato took a bite of the nice golden looking tuber he was filled with energy! He ate a couple more and ran as hard as he could looking for the path up. He filled whatever he could with this delicious tubers and when reaching the Mining Shack his friends yelled out of happiness. They were so happy to see him alive and so was Wilfred. With a confused glance they looked in Wilfred's pockets and bag. "What is this?" they wondered. When they asked Wilfred he said: "This is a gift, my friends. A gift from our God". As they arrived back to the town, they were frightened by the silence and darkness. It looked like if the town was haunted by ghosts. They decided to check their homes and everything seemed just alright. The next morning, the mayor of the community has arranged a meeting to discuss what has happened the last night. The miner group told the whole story about the hordes of zombies and the so called "gift" brought from the caves by Wilfred Potato. When everyone has tried a little bite of this food they were amazed by its taste and the energy it gave. The sick ones were healed, the tired ones were full of energy. After a long discussion and mindstorming they decided it to call it after it's founder, Wilfred Potato. Till this very day the Potato has been the main diet of the Potato Miners. We all have to thank this to Wilfred Potato, our hero that will remain in our memories and who's story will be spoken of from generation to generation.
