Adding CF BY NA Maynard
hey Al... just a heads up I just finished fixing a few CF B NA's for Rhonda... you need to view those in ASAP NOC first, then FMS in these cases, the feature CF B NA in SDAS should be used to add it - and features like CFB and CF NA stand-alone should be removed also - when the area codes are different between the number being forwarded and the number you're forwarding 'to' - it's GUARANTEED (and that should be showing with the 1 in FMS attributes, SDAS order, and ASAP inquire when you're done) also should say Active Y - alt (the seperate features have a Y/N to set to activate, and using them opens you to conflicts like there were on these - even AFEA doesn't k

Maynard Villacarlos
oh, one last thing - the forwarding that exists as part of voicemail is just as likely to conflict with other forwarding features as those not add
Hi thanks for this info.. Do you still have the numbers regading this transactions?thanks
3:03 PMTobias
Maynard
nope, they're all done now anyway but if you run into issues with one of these, be aware they're just as time-sensitive as business activations - and I can't imagine a SME who I suggest locking horns and getting SME'd when (not if, when) you run into others. You will. AFEA does not handle forwarding updates ve (heh - by locking horns I mean 'remain stubborn until it's fixed' ;o) only way to learn em, really.

put the toll free number then "1" below the toll free
A stand-alone should be removed before trying to add it with CF B NA warding 'to' - it's GUARANTEED that you have to enter the 1 before the area code in the forward-'to' number because it is forwarding over long distance ne) also should say Active Y - although it adds in active state by default if you use CF B NA in SDAS e on these - even AFEA doesn't know how to do it right a lot of the time, so fixing these will be the subject of many requests and lynx tickets)
warding features as those not added as part of VM - careful when they have VM because usually the VM forwards have to be retained and orders may have
s - and I can't imagine a SME who wouldn't jump right in with you to help not handle forwarding updates very well, so you'll see them a lot when working business calls.
e retained and orders may have to be sent back nondoable if CF B NA is requested along with VM.
