linking setup of All India Radio- Moving towards reception
through IRD/Set Top Boxes (STBs).

This is in continuation of Directorate circular of even number dated

18/11/2020 referred above , Open Mode Transmission has been started
from NBH Delhi on GSAT-10 from 10/12/2020 onwards for testing. This
Open Mode Transmission is known as DLOP1 and partial change in technical
details for channel configured as stereo channel along with Service
information of the channels from NBH Delhi are as follows:-

U/L Frequency :6341 MHz
D/L Frequency :4116 MHZ

Service information of DLOP2 are as follows

Those stations, which are taking these services, may require

IRD/ Free To Air (FTA ) Set Top Box with MPEG-4 and DVB S-2 and
Symbol rate 1000 KSPS, compatible to receive above Open Mode
Transmission Channels.

It is mentioned here that Stations of Andaman & Nicobar and Kavarati

Islands may please note that similar channels as per above service
information will be available on GSAT-18 Open Mode Transmission from
06/04/2021 at 15:10 hrs onwards. These upgraded services may require
IRD/ Free To Air (FTA ) Set Top Box with MPEG-4 and DVB S-2 and
Symbol rate 1000 KSPS, compatible to receive above Open Mode
Transmission Channels. The technical details are as follows for coverage
of Andaman & Nicobar and Kavarati Islands.

2. DLC14 channel will be discontinue from Radyne Mode Transmission

System with immediate effect.

3. Now, most of the channels of AIR,Satellte Radio Network are to be

received on IRD/ Free To Air (FTA ) Set Top Box on C- Band or, Ku
Band of DD Free Dish as Radio channels.Zonal offices are requested to
circulate to stations of their Zone for reception of National Network and
Vividh Bharti programme.

4. Zonal offices are also requested to extend technical support to

the field stations.

5. Frequency schedule will be circulated in due course.
