Dear Mr Purchase, RE: Letter of Intent for Redevelopment of an Existing Dockyard On behalf of the employer, we have the pleasure to award you the contract of Redevelopment of an Existing Dockyard for the provisional sum of Twenty Five Million Mauritian Rupees(MUR 25,000,000) excluding VAT. The works which need to be carried out under the letter of intent will limit to Ten Million Rupees( MUR 10,000,000). The specified works include: 1. Removal of trees, shrubs and debris 2. Site clearance 3. Site preparation 4. Mobilization cost. This form of contract will remain valid for six months till 13th August 2013 until the finalization of the formal contract. The specified works listed above should be on started 18th March 2013 and completed by latest 30th June 2013. However, payment for the instructed works will be assessed on the quantum of work produced on site and will be calculated at a fair and reasonable price. Please find enclosed drawings and specifications for the execution of the work listed above. Instructions will be issued to you by The Engineer, Arup Sigma. All the proposed works are to be done in accordance to the best building code of practice. You are hereby obliged to submit the following documentation within twenty one calendar days upon receipt of this letter; 1. Performance Security 2. Insurance Policies 3. Program of works

Failure to submit these documents within the specified period will entail to your termination. If you accept our proposition and adhere to carry out the work accordingly as per the contract, please sign and return a copy of the letter by latest 25th February 2013. We remain at your disposal for further queries. Note: The Client reserves the right to stop the construction at any time and the amount of work will be paid at a fair and reasonable amount
