Together, they design and implement a customized training program using a thorough training needs assessment process. Our training consists of classroom theory and instruction with an emphasis on relevant practical exercises and drills conducted under actual field conditions. The exercise development and practical assessments phase of training stresses learning by doing. From basic situational awareness to full-scale disasters, A-T Solutions develops and implements Table-top, Functional and Full-Scale exercises designed to challenge all responders; from the untrained employee to the more specialized First Response Team member. The scenarios supplement classroom instruction and are based on real-world terrorist events, threats and vulnerabilities. Realism is stressed and simulations are minimized. Following the philosophy of train for the certain, educate for the uncertain, ATS realizes how managing human capital presents challenges for organizations. We follow the principles provided by the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) regarding strategic human capital management in order to address the noted lack of attention to training adult learners responsible for effective execution of high risk tasks and measuring output-based results. Our training services provide human capital measurement based on the Kirkpatricks Four-Level Model allowing clients to conduct evaluations at multiple levels to ensure they are meeting critical benchmarks. The Kirkpatrick levels are: Level 1- Reactions: Measures how participants in training programs react to the programs. Level 2- Learning: Measures the extent students have advanced in skills, knowledge, or attitude. Level 3- Transfer: Measures the transfer that has occurred in a learners behavior due to the training program. Level 4- Results: Measures the success of the program in terms of increased production, improved quality, and return on investment.

This MOU articulates the process whereby APUS and A-T Solutions work to assist students to effective transfer of approved training programs college equivalent credit that may be utilized with a degree program. Students completing A-T Solutions training programs offering college credit have a minimum of two options if they wish to utilize earned credit in conjunction with a college level program: Option One: Submit a transfer application to APUS (if already enrolled as a student); or join APUS in order to have the college credit directly applied to an existing program of interest providing they can provide documentation of high school graduation or its equivalent. Option Two: If already participating in an accredited university other than APUS, the student will have to follow the transfer credit guidelines of said institution and request consideration for credit (equivalent to the level and amount APUS affords) to be applied to any existing program of choice. The ultimate outcome of this request is subject to the guidelines and polices of the institution the student is participating in.
Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST)

POST accreditation provides Law Enforcement Officers a means to receive appropriate credit and/or compensation for training events. When referring to credit or compensation, LE personnel should refer to their local/state process and program as each states POST program may vary to include said program not being referred to as POST. Many POSTlike entities accept courses from a state- sponsored FEMA Training Exercises Integration (Former G+T/OGT) catalog for credit; however, this should not be automatically assumed. If you are in need of POST (or similar) approval for training not currently recognized by your states POST-like agency, you should request prior approval in order to ensure your upcoming training event falls within the compliance guidelines. In most cases, your POST agency will require you to fill out an outside provider training form and include a hourly/daily schedule of events and the instructor/s Bio/Resume in order to evaluate the training for approval.
