WHEREASafterduenoticeasrequiredbylawtheCityCouncilheldaduly advertisedpublichearingonMarch62002toconsidersuchapplicationreviewthe staffreportandconsidertestimony frombothproponents andopponentsand WHEREASaMitigatedNegativeDeclarationhasbeenadoptedpursuanttothe review guidelines of the California Environmental Quality Act and environmentalimpactswereexaminedintheenvironmental assessmentalongwith
environmental

variousstudiesand

WHEREASevidence presentedbeforetheCityCouncilasprovidedbytheIndio CityCodeestablishedthatpublicnecessityconvenienceandgeneralwelfarerequires thefindingthattheapplicationfortheProjectMasterPlan fortheabovedescribed propertyshouldbegranted NOWTHEREFORETHECITYCOUNCILOFTHE CITYOFINDIOCALIFORNIA

CityCouncil herebycertifies astothe adequacy ofthe information of the Mitigated Negative Declaration and that the City Council has reviewedtheinformationcontainedintheMitigatedNegativeDeclarationaspartofits reviewoftheproject

theGeneralPlan asnotedin theGeneralPlanAmendmentresolution datedMarch

Section 15070oftheStateCEQAGuidelines
