Ho;ever in #ase of Government em%loyees on de%!tation/ forei'n servi#e to .P2Es t(is o%tion ;ill not "e allo;ed and t(eir %ay ;ill "e 'overned in terms of t(e orders iss!ed "y $e%artment of P!"li# Enter%rises vide ,M dated 26.11.2006 and #larifi#ations iss!ed t(ereafter. =.2 &(e "orro;in' a!t(ority s(all o"tain t(e o%tion of t(e em%loyee ;it(in one mont( from t(e date of 3oinin' t(e e:-#adre %ost !nless t(e em%loyee (as (imself f!rnis(ed t(e o%tion. =.+ &(e o%tion on#e e:er#ised s(all "e final. =.= Ho;ever t(e em%loyee may revise t(e o%tion !nder t(e follo;in' #ir#!mstan#es ;(i#( ;ill "e effe#tive from t(e date of o##!rren#e of t(e same4 (a) L(en (e/s(e re#eives %roforma %romotion or is a%%ointed to non-f!n#tional sele#tion 'rade or !%-'radation of s#ale in t(e %arent #adreI (") L(en (e/s(e is reverted to a lo;er 'rade in t(e %arent #adreI (#) L(en t(e s#ale of %ay of t(e %arent %ost on t(e "asis of ;(i#( (is emol!ments are re'!lated d!rin' de%!tation/forei'n servi#e or of t(e e:-#adre %ost (eld "y t(e em%loyee on de%!tation/forei'n servi#e is revised eit(er %ros%e#tively or from a retros%e#tive date.

(d) )ased on t(e revised/same o%tion of t(e em%loyee in t(e event of %roforma %romotion/a%%ointment to non-f!n#tional 2ele#tion Grade/revision/!%'radation of s#ales of %ay in t(e %arent #adre (is/(er %ay ;ill "e re-fi:ed ;it( referen#e to t(e revised entitlement of %ay in t(e %arent #adre. Ho;ever if t(e initial o%tion ;as for t(e %ay s#ale of t(e de%!tation %ost and no #(an'e in o%tion already e:er#ised is envisa'ed t(e %ay already dra;n in de%!tation %ost ;ill "e %rote#ted if t(e %ay re-fi:ed is less. Note4 /evision in t(e rates of $0 H/0 or any ot(er allo;an#e eit(er in t(e %arent or "orro;in' or'anisation s(all not "e an o##asion for revision of t(e earlier o%tion. =.5. Pay fi:ation 5.1 L(en an em%loyee on de%!tation/-orei'n 2ervi#e ele#ts to dra; %ay in t(e s#ale of %ay atta#(ed to t(e e:-#adre %ost (is/ (er %ay may "e fi:ed as !nder4 (i) $e%!tation from .entral Government to .entral Government If t(e s#ale of %ay/Grade Pay of t(e e:-#adre %ost is (i'(er t(e %ay may "e fi:ed after addin' one in#rement to t(e e:istin' %ay in t(e Pay )and of t(e %arent #adre %ost. &(e 'rade %ay #orres%ondin' to t(e e:-#adre %ost ;o!ld t(ereafter "e 'ranted in addition to t(is %ay in t(e %ay "and. Note-14 &(e term %arent %ost and "asi# %ay means t(e %ost (eld on re'!lar "asis in t(e %arent or'anisation and %ay dra;nD admissi"le in s!#( a %ost res%e#tively. Note-24 0n offi#er ;(o may "e (oldin' a (i'(er %ost on ad-(o# "asis in t(e #adre at t(e time of %ro#eedin' on de%!tation/ forei'n servi#e ;o!ld "e #onsidered to (ave va#ated t(e %ost (eld on ad(o# "asis and %ro#eeded on de%!tation/ forei'n servi#e from (is/(er re'!lar %ost. $!rin' t(e %eriod of de%!tation/ forei'n servi#e (e/s(e s(all earn notional in#rements in t(e %arent #adre %ost. ,n reversion if (e/s(e is re-a%%ointed to t(e (i'(er %ost on re'!lar or ad-(o# "asis (is %ay ;ill 'et fi:ed ;it( referen#e to t(e %ay admissi"le in t(e lo;er %ost on t(e date of s!#( re-a%%ointment. In s!#( #ases if (is %ay 'ets fi:ed at a sta'e lo;er t(an t(at of (is 3!nior(s) ;(o #ontin!ed to serve in t(e #adre no ste%%in' !% ;ill "e admissi"le as %er e:tant r!les in so far as .entral Government em%loyees are #on#erned.
