career training goals and need tuition assistance? Consider applying to the VOCATION program at Catholic Charities Fort Worth (CCFW). Our services include: tuition assistance, job placement services upon successful graduation, professional skills training and other supportive services to help you succeed in school. As we like to say- we’re more than just a scholarship. In order to be eligible for this program you must: - Be a Tarrant county resident - Have work authorization status - Be at or below 150% of federal poverty line - Be willing to commit to program goals - Not hold a degree from a school within the United States - Have not attended/enrolled at TCC since August 1, 2013 - Be willing to attain GED if not a high school graduate or GED holder - Some criminal backgrounds not accepted per licensure/certification requirements or other legal mandates In order to apply for this program, you must complete the attached application, and submit to the VOCATION program at Catholic Charities by either: 1.) dropping off completed application at CCFW’s front desk, 2.) or fax to 817.536.1556, attn: Loren Eaton/VOCATION. ACCOUNTING Program provides fundamental principles of accounting. *Must be able to demonstrate prior academic excellence in math AIRFRAME MAINTENANCE Program prepares individuals to enter field of avionics technology.  Repair and maintain electronic components used for aircraft navigation and communication  Electronics knowledge to understand how avionics systems operate *Must be able to meet requirements of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe Licensure, and be full time student HEALTH INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY Designed to prepare individuals for a career in health information, managing healthcare data and resources. *Must be able to demonstrate prior academic excellence, no criminal background, have health insurance and be willing to commit to full time weekday schedule. Welding – Basic Provides entry-level skills for welding power sources, electrode selection, oxy-fuel cutting, and various joint designs. Welding – Advanced Provides advanced skills for welding (including pipe using the shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) process) *Individuals may apply to receive assistance for both Welding Basic & Welding Advanced Certificates BASIC PEACE OFFICER Trains a cadet for careet in law enforcement.
