Blossom Park hosts 7th annual spelling bee

The spelling bee went very well. I enjoyed welcoming everyone and meeting different people in the spelling bee. It was nice to see Brad do the running of the event. It was also nice of Carol to bake cupcakes and homemade fudge for everyone. I really enjoyed the 7th annual spelling bee.

The SB was great. I was facing ,andy and I did well. Brad had us make animal sounds before we started. I made a cat sound ' meow. I helped arol with the cupcakes and fudge. The SB was fun.

$nfortunately I wasn%t able to take part this year. I took part last year with my worker &eggy. My words were from my workplace ' (ood basics. Taking part helped increase my self confidence. I will take part ne)t year" definitely*

I had a good time at the SB. My partner was Linda. I did my words with her. Both my Mum and dad took part in the spelling bee. I have competed in each of the GTL spelling bees.

Gail was my SB partner. My teacher +ianne said I aced my words. I really en!oyed the SB even though I was nervous. ompeting against hris from the South Gate entre was very en!oyable. Brad looked through his list of words finding some really tough ones for me" as he said you are a proofreader. #aving worked with many of the GTL students while they were learning their words it was especially encouraging to witness them spell so well.
