Finding Happiness I personally think the most interesting place to watch people is the airport.

There, you really see the insanity of it all. Recently I sat in Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport waiting for my connecting flight to urich !efore heading to the center of the uni"erse# $ew %ork &ity. I saw all kinds of interesting characters that day ' the guy in cow!oy !oots and a suede (acket with fringes running up the arm )not e*actly what you+d e*pect here in ,ungary-, the mom with two !oys who looked way too young to ha"e kids. Isn+t it fun to sit !ack and watch as people li"e their li"es/ I always wonder if they+re happy. There+s a 0uote !y author 1ohn ,all that says, 23ometimes what you+re looking for is right under your nose and you don+t e"en know it.4 5ell, I+m putting that to the test. 6ost people, more than anything, want to !e happy. That+s it. But what does 2I+m happy4 really mean/ That you ha"e a spring your step/ %ou+re constantly grinning from ear to ear/ %ou own the !iggest house on the !lock or dri"e the newest car/ %ou ha"e more time to spend with your kids or your family/ 5hat is this seemingly elusi"e notion of happiness/ I can tell you for sure it+s $7T tied to things ' not for me, anyway. 8nfortunately, many of us ha"e !ought into the notion that money !uys happiness. I mean, let+s !e honest. If we didn+t !elie"e that, why would so many of us hop on the same hamster wheel e"ery morning, without e"en 0uestioning it/ Really stop and think a!out that. $ow, I know !eing on the hamster wheel has somewhat of a negati"e connotation. But the 0uestion is# are those hamsters happy/ I like to think some are, depending on the wheel. 3o what particular wheel would make you so ecstatic that you+d want to spend all your time on it/ 5here do you e"en look to answer to this 0uestion/ If it+s not 9isney mo"ies, what you see on T:, or what your friends and family mem!ers tell you, then where/ The funny thing is, where to look is the most important part of the happiness equation. 3o here+s the thing# there+s no right or wrong answer and my telling you would (ust !e more of the same. But like I said, I+m putting the saying, 23ometimes what you+re looking for is right under your nose,4 to the test.
