Hourly Load Analysis

Abstract
In this report, the hourly load data of different parts of the
country is to be studied and analyzed using Excel.

Introduction
The hourly load analysis is the first
step to have reliable load forecasting.
The Hourly Load Data (HLD) is
divided into four networks, EOA,
COA, SOA and WOA. Each network
is to be analyzed individually unless
otherwise required in the assignment.

As you can see from the table, the

highest power consumption is during
summer months. This is expected due
to the air conditioning appliances in
the summer.

From the figures, EOA network is the
highest since it is the industrial part of
the system.

Conclusion

25,000

As seen in the analysis, the highest

power consumption occurred in the
summer season. These graphs and
tables give good indication about the
load pattern during the year. From the
Load Duration Curve, the base,
seasonal and peak loads are
determined.
