Discussion topics and activities will, of necessity, be on a somewhat flexible


schedule. All other assignments and test dates, however, will be as
scheduled unless changed by the instructor.
Be sure to have the chapter/reading indicated in parentheses read and studied by the
corresponding date. NOTE: The Wood text is a composite of chapters from two of her
books. (CM) stands for Communication Mosaics, and are the colorful chapters at
the beginning of our text. (CT) stands for Communication Theory, are all the
chapters in the second half of the text. Always check to make sure your reading the
right chapter by checking it against the topic listed.
Please be sure to bring #2 pencils, ruled notebook paper and a large scantron
sheet, available at the LSU Bookstore.
