Reduced size of underground facilities Reduced requirements for closure on either Main or the Grove Plaza Main will have at least one lane open for most of construction, allowing Capitol Terrace to continue to function as transient parking garage

Impacts on Northern Spoke of 8th


Requesting Cantilever over 8th Street north of Plaza Depth has been reduce to 7 feet 10 inches Height has been pushed up to the 3rd floor to permit clearance for mature trees Area of projection is less than 1,200 square feet, gross area of encroachment is less than 6,000 Projection modulates depth and width - Floors 3 through 9 Significantly less than the area occupied by Arena Balcony 14 Significant projections all along 8th Street Zions entrance canopy 8 8 / Glass Canopy 5 6

Capitol Boulevard Elevation


Realignment of Crosswalk/Bulbout for Definition Retention of Pedestrian access to Mezzanine Level of Commercial Kitchen Open configuration of ramps and use of columns Continued evaluation of pedestrian safety elements signage, audible signals, treatments Enhanced Pedestrian Connection to Grove Design of internal elements, lighting, security, and wayfinding stated concern is not local users

Considerations on Capitol Boulevard


Bulbout safe pedestrian refuge/defines loading areas and ramps/shortens crossing Bus Lane will not be traffic lane during construction part of education process Bus Lane will be clearly demarcated on ground clear identification to northbound drivers All parking garages continue to be left in, left out north bound - private drivers will not have a changed pattern Additional traffic is relatively low volume - only addition is 70 stall garage and transit facility All southbound drivers are professionals employed by VRT
