WHEREAS, specified in Article II, Section 2 of the 2005 XU-SBMSC Constitution that SBMSC envisions a student council that is socially aware and involved, responding to the general interest of the School of Business and Management students in a vigilant and effective way and that it shall cultivate the spirit of participation and cooperation among its members in order to fulfil the objectives of the School and that of the University. WHEREAS, specified in Article VI, Section 4.2f of the 2005 XU-SBMSC Constitution that the SBMSC president may create departments and offices which shall monitor and coordinate all plans and policies enacted by the Central Committee. WHEREAS, specified in Article VI, Section 1.2m of the 2005 XU-SBMSC Constitution that SBMSC shall entrust responsibility to any member of the School of Business and Management Student Council geared in the attainment of its goals and objectives WHEREAS, specified in Article VI, Section 1.2n of the 2005 XU-SBMSC Constitution that SBMSC may create specific committees to respond to certain pressing concerns that need to be addressed immediately. THEREFORE, I, DEOANALIN MAY L. CASTILLO, Xavier University-School of Business and Management Student Council President, by virtue of power vested in me by law, do hereby order the creation of the executive units for SBMSC as follows: SECTION 1. Creation and Functions of Department of Multimedia and Arts. There is hereby the creation of the Department of Multimedia and Arts of the SBMSC. The Department of Multimedia and Arts is an executive unit that is responsible for all multimedia files needed for an event or for the office, graphic layouts and graphic designs and all creative materials for the organization that will be released to the public. The department works hand in hand with the Department of Communication and Public Relations in disseminating these materials. SECTION 2. Creation and Functions of Department of Student Leadership and Development. There is hereby the creation of the Department of Student Leadership and Development. The Department seeks to provide activities for the enhancement of the leadership skills of every SBM Student. The department aims to develop leadership potentials to the future business leaders of the country. The volunteers pool is also assigned to this department. SECTION 3. Effectivity. This executive order shall take effect immediately until March 31, 2015 or as ordered otherwise. So ordered on this 26th day of April, in the year of our Lord, Two Thousand and Fourteen.
