I"S dentify factors which deter use of e resources by the research community !ncourage the two communities to work together to find ways to improve the use of e resources for the enhancement of research in each participating organization "arry out an evaluation survey on the usage of e resources( # survey report on the usage of e journals by the $%& community) 'tratify the clientele base in the respective faculties The workshop was not a training course on search skills or on the use of specific resources.

The !)Resources Team envisages an increase in e)resources use by all $imbabwe %pen &niversity ($%&) internal stakeholders* i.e. researchers including students and staff. !mphasis is on use of the nternational +etwork for the #vailability of 'cientific (ublications,(rogramme for the !nhancement of Research nformation ( +#'(,(!R ) electronic resources. t is assumed the more these e)resources are accessed and used* the better the -uality of research output.
