An elephant is a mammal. It is found in countries like Africa,


India, Thailand and Malaysia. They travel in herds of ten to fifteen
elephants. Do you know that the elephant is the biggest land mammal in
the world?
An elephant has two big ears. It has four strong legs. Below the
eyes, is a long trunk. It uses its trunk to take things. At the right and left
of the trunk are two sharp tusks. The elephant has also a short tail.
