Eggless Chocolate Pudding

This eggless and butterless chocolate pudding recipe uses simple ingredients like custard powder, cocoa powder, chocolate sauce, sugar, salt, vanilla essence and milk. To make it, the dry ingredients are mixed with a portion of milk and kept aside. Chocolate chips are melted in a double boiler. The remaining milk is heated and the dry ingredient mixture is added to it. The melted chocolate chips are added and the mixture is stirred until thickened. It is then transferred to a bowl to refrigerate for at least an hour before serving. The pudding has a silky, creamy and chocolatey texture that kids and guests will enjoy.

nce I saw the recipe in 2-3 blogs, I wanted to make it right away as the ingredients were simple and

I had it in hand too. My search for a simple eggless butterless chocolate pudding ends here and am sure its my keeper. How about urs? !"

Eggless Chocolate Pudding Recipe: Recipe Source : JustHomeMade and HomeCooksRecipes Makes 4 small cups Ingredients: #ustard powder$%anilla fla%ored" - 3 tbsp #ocoa powder - 2 tbsp

#hocolate sauce - & tbsp $optional" Milk - & and &'2 cups

(ugar - 2 tbsp (alt - a pinch #hoco chips - &.) tbsp *anilla essence - &'+ tsp

Method: &. ,irst take &'2 cup milk, mi- custard powder, coco powder, chocolate sauce, sugar, salt and mi- it with a whisk without any lumps and keep aside

2. .oil water in a big bowl and fit another bowl containing chocolate or choco chips o%er the big bowl. (immer the flame once the water starts to boil. /nce the chocolate is melted completely switch off. 3. 0ow heat the remaining & cup milk in a pan then add the custardcoco-sugar mi-ture and mi- well. (tir continuosly to a%oid lumps, when the mi-ture starts thickening add the melted choco chips and keep stirring for )-1mins until it is thick. 2hen scrapped with a spoon it comes out clean and easily, that is the stage so switch off. +. 3ransfer immediately to setting bowl and refrigerate for atleast & hr. 4arnish with choco chips and coco powder sprinkled.

My Notes

5 layer of pudding skin forms (o if you like it then refrigerate as such without co%ering.If you dont like pudding skin wrap the pudding bowls'cups with a plastic wrap and then refriegerate. 6%en the pudding skin was chocolatey so I liked them too !" 8o not skip choco chips' chocolate as it gi%es the chocolatey fla%our. 9ou can a%oid coco powder and chocolates and use the same recipe for a plain %anilla pudding. 2hile adding melted chocolate chocolate to milk, see to that the milk isnt cold else the chocolates will form solids again.

3his is a %ery easy yet rich and delicious dessert. I:m sure kids would lu% it as my little one was relishing e%ery spoon !" I lo%ed the pudding too as it was silky, creamy, yummy and most of all chocolatey 3his would sure impress guests too , easy to make so we can plan it for parties or family get togethers too.
