OBJECTIVE I am interested in a clerical position, receptionist position, teller
position, bookkeeping position, or a warehouse position in a
company that will offer challenges, growth and advancement.

EDUCATION College Attending UNM for BBA in Management Information
Systems; graduation expected in 2016. Graduated May 2, 2008 at
CNM. Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts.

High School Graduated May 12, 2004 at Highland High
School. I was nominated as a Delegate representing New Mexico
at the National Youth Leadership Forum on Technology to be held
the summer of 04.


EXPERIENCE 3-1309 to Now The Home Depot. I am currently a Pro-
Cashier and I must stay on a pro-register near the Pro-Contractors
Desk. I must checkout contractors very quickly and accurately with
excellent customer service. I process every type of payment and I
can setup will-calls, carryouts, phone sales, delivery and installments.
I work two different computer applications to ring up merchandise
that do not have tags. I am a top performer on getting customers
signed up for consumer and commercial credit accounts. I manage
money in the cash drawer and help out with load-outs that include
60lbs concrete, tile, mortar, and drywall.

I was also a Head-Cashier for two years. My duties were to manage
cashiers and lot associates schedules - which included their
lunches and breaks. I managed all cash drawers either for opening
or closing the store and alarms according to the standard operation
procedures. I completed paperwork for ve different reports,
approved markdowns and voids and xed any overages or
shortages on the registers. I xed or repaired the register
equipment and helped with load-outs.

I was also a Back-up Bookkeeper. My duties included balancing the
vault, replenish all cash drawers and Self-Checkout. I was very
good at nding mistakes in balances and correcting them. I
managed money orders and deposits to and from the bank through
Brinks or Garda. I would x associates time-clock missed punches
and input approved vacation and sick/personal time for associates.
There were a number of reports I had to work through and le.

6-08 to 2-09 IHOP. I was a server. My duties included serving
customers with full knowledge of the menu and all types of
payments. I prepared meals and drinks. At the end of each shift, I
would have to calculate what cash went to the restaurant and what
were my tips. I maintained a clean work space.

8-01 to 5-02 Del Norte High School ofce aid. My duties
included sorting and ling documents alphabetically and
numerically, running errands, answered phones, a little typing.

In my computer class at CNM, I worked With Microsoft Word,
Web and Microsoft Excel. I gained experience in working with
Word and I learned how to sort alphabetically and numerically
using Excel.


SPECIAL SKILLS
& ABILITIES I am familiar with E-mail, the web, have some skill in Word
- I can type 25 words per minute, Excel and PowerPoint and I have
adapted very well to learning the programs being used in the work
place. Im very condent that I can learn any program needed for
the job. I have more hardware experience Im called upon rst to
x any hardware issues with the registers, scanners, scan guns,
sensormatics, all spider wraps, signature pads and printers. Im
relied on to x the problems because Ive been the most successful
at xing the issues that come up, and if I cant x it then I know
who best to contact right away to get it xed. I have experience
with ling and running errands accurately and quickly. I also have
experience in moving heavy objects and I am strong for a heavy
job. Im able to multi-task very well. Home Depot brings up so
many situations at once and Ive learned how to manage three
situations at the same time or how to best prioritize them. I want to
train in all thats required and necessary for the job. I work well
with others as well as independently. I am exible, hard-working,
cooperative and imaginative.
