Jon Knight Understanding that we all (including students) have
preferred ways to think, learn, communicate and make
decisions. Using this information to ensure that in
planning individual lessons and daily planners, all styles
are activated. This is so students benefit from working in
their preferred style as well learning to work in their less
dominant styles. I am also able to utilise this information
in allocating groups for teamwork, ensuring that all
quadrants are represented in a team.

THRASS is a method to assist children in reading and
spelling. It has shown me how the 44 sounds (phonemes)
of the English language are broken down into how they
are spelled. I have obtained a very solid understanding of
how the THRASS chart assists students to read and spell
and I look forward sharing the THRASS chart and teaching
children how to spell.
