This ticket will only be valid with an IDproof in original provided at the time of bookingby the passenger (s).
If found travellingwithout ID Proof, passenger (s) will be treated as without ticket and charged as per extant
Railway rules.
At least one passenger should travel with his/her ID card in original which is indicated on the ERS/VRM. In
case he/she is not travelling, all other passenger(s) booked on that ticket, if found travellingin train will be
treated as travelling without ticket and charged accordingly.
Valid IDs to be presented during train journey by one of the passenger booked on an e-ticket :- Voter Identity
Card / Passport / PAN Card / Driving License / Photo IDcard issued by Central / State Govt / Public Sector
Undertakings of State/Central Government, District Administrations, Municipal bodies and Panchayat
Administrations which are havingserial number /Student Identity Card with photograph issued by
recognized School or College for their students /Nationalized Bank Passbook with photograph /Credit Cards
issued by Banks with laminated photograph.
General rules/ Information for e-ticket passenger have to be studied by the customer for cancellation &
refund.

There is amendments in certain provisions of Refund Rule. Refer Amended Refund Rulesw.e.f 01-07-2013.
PNRs havingfully waitlisted status will be dropped and the names of the passengers will not appear on the chart. They are not allowed to board the train.
However the namesof PARTIALLY waitlisted/ confirmed and RACwill appear in the chart.
The accommodation booked isnot transferable and is valid only if one of the IDcard noted above ispresented duringthe journey. The ERS/VRM/SMSsent
by IRCTCalongwith the valid IDproof in original would be verified by TTE with the name and PNR on the chart. If the passenger fail to produce/display
ERS/VRM/SMSsent by IRCTCdue to any eventuality (loss, damaged mobile/laptop etc.) but hasthe prescribed original proof of identity, a penalty of Rs.50/-
per ticket as applicable to such cases will be levied. The ticket checkingstaff On board/Off board will give ExcessFare Ticket for the same.
E-ticket cancellationsare permitted through www.irctc.co.in by the user.
Obtain certificate fromthe TTE /Conductor in case of PARTIALLY waitlisted e-ticket, LESSNO. OFPASSENGERStravelled, A.C.FAILURE, TRAVELIN LOWER
CLASS. Thisoriginal certificate must be sent to GGM (IT), IRCTCLtd., Internet TicketingCentre, IRCA Building, State Entry Road, New Delhi-110055after filing
on-line refund request for claimingrefund.
Passengers are advised not to carry inflammable/dangerous/explosive articlesaspart of their luggage and also to desist fromsmokingin the trains.
