Activity 1

Glue a piece of paper on cardboard black voice

Cut squash (orange) and ghosts (lime)
Cut letters for the words HAPPY HALLOWEEN
Stage 3
Glue pumpkins and ghosts, one by one, then paste the title.

Draw the mouth and eyes courgettes and ghosts.

Procedure
Words from "Halloween
the teacher write the word HALLOWEEN on the board or overhead.
The pupils are asked to generate words using the letters found in Halloween (wheel, hall, halo, when,
now, etc.).
The teacher set a time limit, and give a prize or two for the highest number of correct words.
Halloween Lists
the teacher write the word HALLOWEEN on the board or overhead.
The pupils encouraged to generate lists of words that pertain to Halloween (October, pumpkin, ghost,
costume, apples, candy, etc.).

Activity 3

White and black construction paper

Procedure
The teacher determine categories for types of ghosts (scariest, brainiest, happiest, strongest, most
afraid, etc.).
The students are asked to select a category and design a ghost.
The teacher display finished ghosts (just put them on desks and walk around if it's REALLY last minute!),
and the pupils verbally appreciate others' efforts.









Activity 4
Find the Pumpkins
Objective
The pupils make and hide pumpkins for their classmates to find in this simple Halloween game.
Materials
Ten pieces of white paper
Five pieces of yellow paper
Five pieces of orange paper
A crayon
Scissors
Procedures
1. Draw ten white pumpkins, five yellow pumpkins and five orange pumpkins.
2. Cut out all the pumpkins.
3. Decorate each pumpkin with a funny face.
4. Write the number 1 on the backs of the white pumpkins.
5. Write the number 5 on the backs of the yellow pumpkins.
6. Write the number 10 on the backs of the orange pumpkins.
7. Have the teacher hide all of the pumpkins.
8. Pupils will try to find as many pumpkins as they can before the bell, whistle, or gong sound
signals them to "Stop!"
9. Each player will add up the numbers on the pumpkins they found.
10. The person with the most points wins!
11. Pupils will hide the pumpkins for the next group to find.


Activity 5
Halloween Word Game
Materials
Wrapped Candy
Small paper bags
Markers
Paper
Procedures
1. The teacher write the following words in large letters on a piece of paper and tape the paper up
where everyone can see it: HALLOWEEN, CANDY, WITCH, PARTY, GHOST, TRICK OR
TREAT, and PUMPKIN.
2. Give each student a bag with ten pieces of wrapped candy in it.
3. Have the players write their names on their bags so that the bags don't get mixed up.
4. The teacher instruct pupils to sit in pairs on the floor with their bags of candy in their laps.
5. The teacher read the rules for the Halloween Word Game aloud:
o The object of the game is to avoid saying the words: HALLOWEEN, CANDY, WITCH,
PARTY, GHOST, TRICK OR TREAT, or PUMPKIN when discussing a topic selected by
the teacher.
o Every pupil must talk about the topic --staying silent or discussing something else is not
an option.
o If a pupil says any of the Halloween words by mistake she must give one piece of candy
to her partner.
o The person with the most candy in his bag at the end of the game is the winner.
6. The teacher start the game by reading the first prompt:
o PROMPT #1: An alien rings your doorbell on Halloween night and asks you what is going
on. Describe Halloween for him.
o PROMPT #2: Describe five activities that people do on Halloween.




PROMPT #3: You are having a Halloween party and you need to get your friends to help you
decorate the room.

The general objective / purpose:
Accumulation of new knowledge on aspects of French tradition, demonstrating
knowledge of English acquired, developing the team spirit and the competition
would be the general objectives of this project.


Specific objectives of the project:
Acquiring knowledge by students on the origin of Halloween -
Toussaint, old legends, symbols, colors, traditions and customs of
children, costumes, games and songs specific
Applying lessons learned from English lessons by interpreting
Halloween poems;
Use imagination of children in developing specific sets and costumes
for carnival festival;
Increased quality of education;
Stimulate competitive spirit by participating in games and contests;
Presentation, in a form of appreciation enjoyed studying foreign
languages among students of our school.







Expected results from implementing the project:
Encourage students through stories, drawing competition;
Developing positive attitudes towards the subject proposed;
Encourage students to use English continued involvement of
students in extracurricular activities;
The involvement of the teaching staff in effectively attracting
students in organizing extracurricular activities with;
Increased quality of learning;
Raising the prestige of the school;


PROJECT SUMMARY

The project is more than a report on a French tradition far less known by
Cioburciu village school pupils. Therefore, they will be able to demonstrate
knowledge of English before teachers and peers, to develop sense of initiative and
competition, to use their skills and artistic talents to use English vocabulary
specific to the holidays .
