SSB-Interview-Process
To conduct SSB (Services
Selection Board) Interview,
primarily three centers are
located in the country in the
cities of Allahabad, Bhopal,
and Bangalore. Each of these
selection boards comprise of
4-5 centers and the
interview for SSB will be held
at any one of these
destinations. However, there
are other SSB, AFSB (Air
force selection Board) and
NSB (Navy Selection Boards)
are situated at Dehradun,
Mysore, Gandhinagar,
Varanasi and Coimbatore
(NSB). Once you received
call letter of SSB interview, you have to report interview center.
How to reach and report at SSB Center
On the railway station of each city, there is a Movement Control Office (MCO) where
the candidates have to report upon their arrival. From this office, a representative of
respective selection center will escort them to the bus by which they will reach the
selection center. However, the candidates who arrive late or through road transport are
supposed to directly report at selection center. Usually, there is enough time between
reporting at the center and interview. This time can be utilized by the candidates to
explore the interesting places of the city.
Introduction at SSB Center and form filling
At selection center, the Duty Officer will have an introductory discussion to explain
details regarding administrative matters, code of conduct applicable to the candidates
along with the dos and donts they need to follow.
At this point of time, documentation and verification of important documents, like age
proof and educational certificates, is also completed.
Candidates are then allotted chest number for tests to be conducted henceforth. Here,
candidates must understand the relevance and authenticity of these tests where all of
them will be uniformly judged on same parameters of suitability with equal chances of
selection or rejection for all. Therefore, they should remember that they are not
competing with anyone as such.

SSB Interview Process - Day 1 to 5
Excluding the day of reporting, SSBs has a five daylong schedule for testing of the
candidates. These tests are specifically not aimed at testing the physical fitness of these
aspirants. Rather, they are directed towards their personality attributes. Schedule of
these tests can be tentative and may change as per the number of candidates appearing
in the process. If need be, GTO tests can be done in a single day as well. Here is details
