EXPANSION JOINT FILLER HD100
1. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
HD100 is a Cross linked Closed cell Polymer. It is widely known as compressible Expansion Joint
Filler Board and is flexible as well as has high compression-recovery, therefore suitable for
application at places which require readily compressible low load. This filler board is non-
tainting and therefore suitable for use in potable water retaining and water excluding
structures. It is very light weight and easy to handle and install. It can withstand severe
weathering conditions and shows no sign of disintegration or degradation. It is a sheet form in
semi-rigid, UV resistive, high performance laminated closed cell polyethylene foam joint filler. It
is suitable for use as expansion joint filler in concrete, brick, block work and isolation joints
where readily compressible low load transfer joint filler is required.

3. COMPLIANCE
Our HD100 has proven performance and complies with DOT Specifications Part-III, highway

6. TENDER SPECIFICATIONS
Providing and fixing required thickness of Premoulded compressible filler board in black colour,
conforming to highway clause 1015 having minimum density of 1005 Kg/m

standard thickness from 5mm to
100mm, in sheet sizes of

special order.

8. STORAGE & HANDLING
HD100 should be laid flat and stored under shade away from sources of excessive heat and
naked flame.
9. HEALTH SAFETY
There are no health hazards associated with HD100 in normal use.
10. LAYING PROCEDURE
In an expansion/movement joint HD100 can be fixed in position to substrate using either a
double sided adhesive foam tape or synthetic rubber based adhesive tape.
When forming expansion joints with HD100 in inside concrete, joint sealing slot can be readily
formed as per following:
Initially, simply cut off a strip of the
required depth. Pin the strip back on
using two inch or appropriate length
nails at intervals. Then install the filler
and flush with the finished surface.
Before the sealing, the top strip can then
be pulled comfortably from the joint to
provide an uncontaminated sealing slot
ready for preparation and sealing.

Please note that Elastomeric sealants will not bond with HD100.
For pavements having thickness more than 150mm.
Cut HD100 of required size and provide marking for dowel bars and fix it in position by
hammering HD100 gently through the dowel bars.
For Pavements having thickness upto 150mm
Fix HD100 in position to already casted concrete at suitable intervals and at minimum
50mm from edge and bent forwards to hold HD100. Remove the nails after 24hrs of casting
for the next panel.
