Conducted fatigue and tensile test programs on various metal joints and polymers. Presented fndings to a technical audience on multiple occasions. Incorporated modern fracture analysis techniques to analyze data and fracture surfaces. Calibrated test equipment, assisted in sample fabrication, completed laboratory maintenance, and aligned test platforms. Trained new and experienced personnel in safe use of new programs. June 2012-August 2013 The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI Student Building Manager Led a team of students on a daily basis to provide excellent customer service, setup A/V equipment, prioritize resources, and work with various departments. April 2014-Present Research Experience - The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Department Collaborated with a team of researchers and graduate students to create an advanced Electronic Ship Motion Forecasting system for the Ofce of Naval Research. Debugged programs written in Fortran, C++, and Pearl. Analyzed ship hull geometry and wrote technical writing. May 2014-Present Materials Science Department Utilized TEM and XPS methods to examine sputter rates in semiconductors.
