Experience
University of Washington: Washington Sea Grant Field Research Intern 2011 Present Field assistant for the Washington Sea Grant Geoduck Program, collected and analyzed samples from geoduck farm sites to determine the ecological consequences of the aquaculture on other organisms. Collection skills utilized include benthic core sampling, excavations, photo quadrats, crab tagging and beach seining. Anchor QEA Intern 2011 Conducted fish surveys for the Elliot Bay Seawall project consisting of juvenile salmonids, perch, tubesnout, sand lance and surf smelt. Tracked and documented count, location, and migrations. Roof NW Owner/Operator 2010 Present Developed and managed a roof consulting, spec writing and project management business for residential homeowners; desinged roofs based on budget, aesthetics and environmental impact. Legacy Roofing & Gutters Chief Operations Officer 2005 2010 Collaborated with engineers, architects and building-envelope experts to design solutions to building issues. Executed and directed 3o projects simultaneously ($25M/year) while coordinating logistics: crews, suppliers, delivery drivers and customers. Initiated and maintained CRM software and job database: utilized to monitor, analyze and evaluate data and develop operations reports to manage crews, costs and profits. Developed and guided meetings for review of P&L statements and budgets for each project.

Education
Bachelor of Science - Aquatic and Fishery Sciences University of Washington Developed and conducted an experiment and thesis as part of the Washington Sea Grant Geoduck Research Program to examine the affects of three geoduck farms on predation and growth rates of non-target manila clams.
