Marching Band Competition

Greetings,
The Eastern High School Band and Boosters will be hosting the 9th annual Eagle Classic Marching
Band Competition, September 13, 2014. Our competition will be one of the largest and most popular band
contests in Kentucky. We anticipate 16 participating bands from around the state in attendance with
approximately 1500 students and over 1500 spectators. It is an all-day event that will be exciting and
rewarding!

To ensure the success of this event, we are asking for sponsorships from area businesses. There are three
ways for your business to participate:

1. Placing an ad in our events program
2. Sponsoring a trophy
3. Placing an ad AND sponsoring a trophy

We invite you to become involved in our event through your sponsorship participation. Ads will be
placed in our events program and trophy sponsors will be announced during the awards ceremony. The event
program will include a map of the Shelbyville Road/Middletown corridor to assist attendees in finding the
locations of our advertisers.

The 2014 Eastern High School Marching Band is comprised of over 130 students. They are dedicated to
spending many hours at practice daily starting in early July, and compete throughout the state during the
marching season. This year we will also be attending several Bands of America Competitions. You may know
these dedicated students as employees of some of our local establishments. Please consider supporting their
hard work and commitment.

This year, anyone sponsoring a trophy or trophies may purchase any size ad space
(excluding inside or outside of program cover) for off the regular price! Attached is the form to
place your ad and/or sponsor a trophy. If you have any questions, please contact Michelle Bruner

ADVERTISING AGREEMENT AND SPONSORSHIP

WITNESSETH:

WHEREAS, the Advertiser wishes to advertise in the program book of the Eastern High School Marching Band Contest, EASTERN
EAGLE CLASSIC BAND COMPETITION, to be held on September 13, 2014 at Eastern High School, 12400 Old Shelbyville Road,
Louisville, Kentucky.

NOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed by and between the parties hereto as follows:

1. SCOPE OF ADVERTISING SERVICE:
A. The Band will provide Advertiser space for advertising in its program book to be published and used at its band
competition on September 13, 2014. Advertiser may select an ad size and fee choice as indicated below:

2. FEES AND COMPENSATION:
Advertiser agrees to pay to the Band all fees for advertising at the time the agreement is signed.
Payment must be made by check payable to the EASTERN HIGH SCHOOL BAND.

3. COMPLETE AGREEMENT
The Band and the Advertiser agree mutually that this Advertising Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the
parties.

Eastern Eagle Classic

The Eastern High School Band Competition is scheduled for Saturday, September 13, 2014. Once
again we are gearing up for this exciting day! We would like to thank you in advance for your
support.

Our annual competition is our largest fundraiser of the year. We would be unable to compete at the
level that we have achieved, without community support.
