Verb drill:

II. Functions
Use the present progressive/continuous tense for:
1. Any action that is progressive or being done at the moment
Examples:
I am attending an English Channel class right now.
We are sailing towards a remote island.
They are eating lunch in the kitchen at the moment.
Howard is thinking of throwing a surprise birthday party for his father.
2. Future actions that will happen in a given time
Example:
We are going to travel abroad next year.
I am meeting my friends in an hour.
The senior students are not graduating until the end of March.

A) Bring a poster with a scene including pople doing different activities

B) Bring two flash cards for each member in the group with an action

The poster is going to be used for the whole class asking to the student to
describe what a specific person is doing.
The flash cards are going to be used in small groups asking to the student to
describe what a specific person is doing.

CONCLUSIONES

Con estas actividades se pretende acercar al alumno a la temtica del

Present progressive, la consolidacin se tendr en el momento en que el alumno
manifieste su competencia en el manejo del tema al presentar una exposicin del
tema utilizando el lenguaje y las expresiones propias de este contenido.
Queda pendiente el desarrollo de ms actividades que se manejarn en lo
individual y que se desarrollarn en ejercicios en pginas web relacionadas con
este tema.
