Daily Probe Cleaning

Supplies. Daily Probe Cleaning Kil
Fill lhe Probe Cleaning Wedge wilh 2 mL o probe cleaning solulion.
Place lhe Probe Cleaning Wedge inlo posilion 1 o lhe Peagenl Carousel.
Selecl DIAGNOSTICS rom lhe Slarl-up screen.
Selecl PRBCLEAN rom lhe Common Diagnoslics screen, and lhen RUN.
Selecl GO on lhe Display Panel.
When lhe Probe Cleaning is inished, selecl GO on lhe Display Panel lo
run lhe PROBE ANGLE lesl, and observe lhe liquid dispensed rom
lhe probe.
Simullaneously press ALARM MUTE and GO on lhe Display Panel lo
slop lhe diagnoslic procedure.
Pemove lhe Probe Cleaning Wedge rom lhe Peagenl Carousel.
Selecl CLOSE lo relurn lo lhe Slarl-up screen.
Daily Startup
Selecl RUN IMMULITE or RUN TURBO rom lhe Slarl-up screen.
Lnler lhe User lD and selecl OK.
Wail or program iles lo download lo lhe lnslrumenl.
Selecl GO on lhe Display Panel, and ollow lhe prompls.
Peview lhe Peagenl Slalus screen aler loading reagenls, samples,
and Tesl Unils.
Selecl CLOSE lo relurn lo lhe Home Screen.
Daily Shutdown
Selecl LOG OFF rom lhe menu bar. Logging o aulomalically iniliales
a syslem backup, and relurns you lo lhe Slarl-up screen.
Selecl SHUTDOWN rom lhe Slarl-up screen and lhen YES.
Selecl Slarl rom lhe lask bar, and lhen Shut Down.
Selecl Peslarl rom lhe drop-down menu, and lhen OK.
The compuler will reslarl, and lhe Log On lo Windows box displays.
Selecl OK. (No password is required.)
Double-click lhe lMMULlTL 1000 icon on lhe desklop lo redisplay
lhe Slarl-up screen.
Activating Remote Diagnostics
From lhe running solware, press [Alt] and [Tab] simullaneously on
lhe keyboard lo display lhe lask bar and selecl Start.

TM
Host Mode oplion.
The pcAnywhere Manager window will open.
Double-click lhe icon.
A compuler monilor icon appears on lhe bollom righl side o lhe screen
conirming lhe conneclion.

Onboard Dilutions
Load Peagenl Wedges and Diluenl Wedges onlo lhe Peagenl Carousel.
Load each onboard dilulion in lhe ollowing sequence.
1) Place a Sample Cup Holder conlaining undiluled sample on lhe Load Plalorm.
2) Place a Dilulion Cup Holder conlaining an emply Sample Cup in lhe nexl posilion on
lhe Load Chain. (Dilulion Cup Holders can be dislinguished rom Sample Cup Holders
by a yellow ring below lhe barcode.)
3) Leave an emply posilion immedialely ollowing lhe Dilulion Cup Holder.
4) Place a maximum o our Tesl Unils lhal use lhe same dilulion aclor and diluenl be-
hind lhe emply posilion. The irsl Tesl Unil delermines lhe dilulion aclor and lype
o diluenl lo be used.
