This document lists 52 contributors who provided photographs and drawings used for illustrations in the Handbook. It thanks the many individuals and organizations who contributed the materials from which the illustrations were selected. While an attempt was made to identify the source of each illustration, this was not possible for all of them. The large number of excellent photographs contributed allowed the editors to select illustrations based on the highest standards.

We are indebted to the mar^ individuals and organizations who con-
tributed the multitude of photographs and drawings from which those used in the Handbook illustrations were selected. In preparing the list of credits every attempt has been made to identify the source or sources of each il- lustration and table. However, this has not been possible in all cases. So many excellent photographs were contributed that only a small portion of the total could be included in the Handbook. The availability of the larger number made possible the establishment of the highest standards for the final selection. CONTRIBUTORS OF ILLUSTRATIONS AND TABLES 1. AcmeElec. &Mfg. Co., Cuba,N.Y. 2.
