Multidimentional crisis is becaming worse in Indonesia. We are always presented the
news in various media which indicates how moral depraved of this nation. It begins from
corruptions that happen in all aspects of national life, the brawls start from Junior High
School, High School, until college students, adultery which has been made by the
government officers, and deceitfulness in education department which is place to produce
the next generation. ccording to Mu!hlish Holle stated that recently, Indonesia has
been shoc!ed with falsification of data and other documents by at least "## private
universities in $ust over a year. It is not only that, about %## other lecturers also do the
academic ethics code violation such as, forgery and plagiarism of scientific publications

so they act in more acceptable and productive ways for both personal and social.

Indonesia has tried to solve the problems, as an exmple on the educational aspect by
changing the *+S, curriculum to -#%. curriculum. +he government hopes it will wor! as
early prevention of the multidimentional crisis in educational aspect.

Ministry stated that this change also loo!ed at the conditions in the last year. *+S, which
allowed the teachers to ma!e the curriculum independently on each school that was not
function smoothly. 3or that reason, the new curriculum is created and designed by the

applies the pattern that has been included in the curriculum structure on each of these

respect the norms again which become the national culture, for instance building
character of honest, dicipline, and responsibility. Second, grows the values of science. In
the other way, the government ma!es serious efforts innovation spirit, study, and

+he students: attitude nowadays tends to apathy toward education. +hey are $ust busy
with activities that are not important, such as playing online games, faceboo!, twitter, and
others. Students do not understand the importance of education characters for them.

networ!s and online games can decrease the morality of teenagers, such as children
become dare to their parents and say rudely to them, and the case of raping has increased.

+he students have paid more attention to their education and also they should have a
proactive and responsive attitude either in the classroom or outside the classroom. /oth
of these attitudes is very important for them because if they $ust !eep silent and tend to be
passive then the teacher will not !now whether they already !now or not about the
sub$ect matter which has taught.
<iterature is a fiction that describes a reality which it blurred. ccording to 1amono
which stated that literature shows a snapshot of life, and life itself is a social reality. In
this sense, life includes relationship between society, the society with interpersonal,

+hrough the explanation above, the writer may conclude that movie is a part of literature
because it is also mimesis or the reflection of the society which is presented in motion
pictures. Moreover, a movie or film, is a part of fiction.
+here are some interrelationship between movie and education. In one side to give
positive impact and the other side to give negative impact, especially towards high school
students. Movies are cultural artifacts created by the specific cultures, which reflect
those cultures, and, in turn, affect them. +hey can imitate or identify from the characters
in the movie or film.

be born with a digital cloc!, bearing % year of time, on their forearm. t the age of -> a

characters of responsive, pro active, responsibility, nastionalism, and patriotism attitudes
in order to participate toward implementation of the -#%. curriculum that emphasi;es in
addition to develop character of cognitive s!ills and abilities. 5ext, to grow the value of
the national:s characters which contained in -#%. curriculum. In the other hand, It also
can be served as reference for the readers which want to ma!e a movie as a media to
support the implementation of -#%. curriculum.

+his final pro$ect is arranged into five chapters. 0hapter Cne is the introduction. It
contains bac!ground of the study, limitation of the study, statements of the problem,
ob$ectives of the study, significance of the study, and outline of the final pro$ect.
0hapter +wo contains review of related literature that can support the writing of the final
pro$ect.
0hapter +hree presents method of investigation. It will discuss about research design,
research method, research approach, data sources, data collecting techniBue, and research
instrument.
0hapter 3our describes the main purpose of this final pro$ect, that is the discussion about
the responsive character of Will Salas which can support the -#%. curriculum
achievement. +he last chapter, 0hapter 3ive, is conclusion of the discussion of the study.

+he previous study which is relevant to this thesis has been written by Julia Wahyu

Semioti!a 0harles Sanders ,ierce'. 0harles Sanders ,eirceFs semiotic theory is used as a
!nife in the research analysis. Semiotic theory of 0harles Sanders ,eirce used the
representative concept of heroic characteristic.
+he thesis which has been written by Julia Wahyu Indriani focused on the heroic
characteristic which described on the movie. It is different with this thesis which more
emphasis on responsive characteristics by using a psychological approach.
