Configuring CE Overbooking

This section describes how to activate, verify, and deactivate the optional feature WRFD-140212 CE
Overbooking.
Prerequisites
Dependencies on Hardware
This feature has the following impact on the NodeB hardware:
The 3900 series base station must be configured with the WBBPb,
WBBPd, or WBBPf board.
The BTS3902E supports this feature.
The DBS3800 must be configured with the EBBC or EBBCd board.
The BTS3812E, BTS3812A, and BTS3812AE must be configured with
the EBBI, EBOI, or EULPd board.
Dependencies on Other Features
The following features have been configured before this feature is activated:

License
The license controlling this feature has been activated. For details on how to activate
the license, see Activating the UMTS License. For details about license items, see
Feature Activation and License Item Descriptions.

Activation Procedure

Verification Procedure
Verify that the value of the new counter VS.NodeB.ULCreditUsed.Mean,
VS.NodeB.ULCreditUsed.Max or VS.NodeB.ULCreditUsed.Min is not 0. A non-zero value
indicates that CE Overbooking takes effect.
Deactivation Procedure
