Romans 8:15, For you have not been given the spirit of bondage again unto fear; but you have been given the spirit of adoption whereby we cry, Abba Father. Father God, Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastor Ron, and his family. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love is fowing through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great you are and how much I love you. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed. In Jesus' name, Amen The goodness of God leads me to repentance. Romans 2:4 I will preach so they will hear the Gospel. Romans 10:14 I will pray to the Lord of the harvest to send laborers into His harvest. Matthew 9:38 One of the biggest problems we face growing up is being ignored. We are made in the image of God; if we need to be acknowledged in our small way how much more should God be acknowledged. Yet the frst problem Jesus faced was also being lightly esteemed, or being taken too lightly; not being seen for who He really was. It would have been better if people had ignored Him rather than treat Him like He was no big deal. They didnt take the Son of God seriously. Esteeming God, or taking Him seriously will be evident in our lives by the way we talk about our Savior. It is a way of living your life that takes every opportunity to bring glory to God and what He has done for us through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. When we believe in God and all that He has done, we have a fear of His greatness. Then acknowledging His greatness we realize we have been given a gift of eternal life and an invitation to be sons and daughters who will have His love and power lavishly poured out on us. As we receive His perfect love, we cannot ignore the commandments and the promises. The more we get to know God the more fear and reverence will rise up until real worship is present. He is a friend to us, but to us, He will always be God, nothing less. Praising God on Sunday and going right back to your old way of life the next day is one way that people lightly esteem God.
