What about tomorrow?

While this is a rather personal

question it is also an important question for every
household, business, organization, community, and
church. Often we keep doing whats been working but
there are times when it is important to ask what about
tomorrow? This is one of those times for our parish.
Did you know that our worship space, rectory, and

Parish life has also changed in the past 50 years. Today
we have over 50 ministries that require space for meet-
ings and activities, e.g. faith formation, youth, elderly,
service projects, social events, and community events.
We do not have an adequate and accessible space for
the parish staff that supports the mission of our parish
today. Space is always at a premium. Our master plan
includes proposals to meet these needs as well.
Master plans do not come without a cost. The cost now

What other changes will be made to assist those in
the worship space?
There will be more adequate and accessible bathrooms.
Technology will be included to provide for video, light,
and sound especially for the hearing impaired. More
space will be provided for parents with children, the el-
derly, and those with special needs that connects them
to the worship space through windows.
Does it include new HVAC for the church?

What will happen to the Stations of the Cross or the
stained glass windows?
We havent gotten to that level of detail yet. There are
no plans to replace them. The art glass at the entrances
would be removed and likely be re-used in some way.
What was the wish list that is not contained in
the plans?

What input did the current or projected demographic
changes in those attending church have on our plans?
We spent very little time on this because we realize
that if we dont refresh our space people will likely go
elsewhere.
What will the school get out of this since these
facilities are not included in any of the plans?
The school would become sprinkled for safety as well

Apostles Family Festival. This annual event, which started
in the early 70s, is Holy

and thus is absolutely
essential to the health of
the Parish.
The event opened on
Friday evening with slightly
chilly and damp weather,
but that did not deter
people from stopping by
and enjoying all the Festival
has to offer. Among other
favorites, the crowd took

This is an increase from last

A few changes were made to this years Festival to make
it even more enjoyable. A second entertainment stage
was set up at the Holy Apostles School entrance, near
the carnival rides, where the band Down 2 Earth played.
Guests loved the addition! Many Parishioners also noted
how they appreciated the more organized rummage
