Job Description
Anal yzes exi sti ng or proposed process, uti l i ti es, storage and
other support systems for the off-shore producti on faci l i ti es and
onshore pl ant. Prepares or revi ews desi gn work connected wi th
mul ti -di sci pl i nary projects, modi fi cati ons and al ternati ons to
exi sti ng systems, or the i nstal l ati on of new equi pment and
systems, whether done i nhouse by the Mai ntenance Department
or through outsi de contractors. Studi es and
anal yses compl ex or recurri ng probl ems rel ati ng to process,
uti l i ti es, storage and other support systems, and recommends
appropri ate sol uti ons. Works wi th other speci al i st di sci pl i ne
engi neers i n the mai ntenance and updati ng of engi neeri ng
drawi ngs, standards, speci fi cati ons, manual , and data books.
Required Qualification
Bachel or Degree i n Chemi cal , Ci vi l , El ectri cal , Instrumentati on,
Mechani cal , Petrol eum, or Structural Engi neeri ng.
Required Experience
8 years experi ence i n desi gni ng, bui l di ng, operati ng, moni tori ng
and mai ntai ni ng producti on and processi ng equi pment and
associ ated systems i n the petrol eum i ndustry. Incl udes 4 years
i n mul ti -di sci pl i ne project envi ronment, wi th good ski l l s i n
organi zati on of work, pl anni ng and schedul i ng of acti vi ti es, and
performance of cost control responsi bi l i ti es.
Very good wri tten and spoken Engl i sh. Hi gh computer l i teracy i n
both offi ce and techni cal appl i cati ons.
