Business Growth Advisor (Ref: BGA3375)

Salary: 30,000 to 40,000 per annum
Location: Manchester city centre

Business Growth Hub are recruiting a Business Growth Advisor to deliver High quality business assistance to a portfolio of
ambitious business owners and senior managers of companies looking to achieve growth.
Based: Manchester City Centre.

The duties of the job include:

Handling client enquiries via, phone and email
Establishing and maintaining effective relationships key contacts in client SMEs
To actively manage the day to day delivery activities in support of engaged SMEs
To work with the core Growth hub team, other Advisors and teams internal and external to ensure client SMEs have a
seamless journey through Hub programmes
To working in conjunction with other delivery teams to ensure that other expertise is brought in to assist eligible
companies to develop as necessary
To ensure that the monitoring and collection of output and impacts data is undertaken throughout the project and at
the conclusion of each individual project inline with ERDF requirements
To ensure client enquiries and partner referrals are correctly recorded on Captavia and associated data capturing
systems, updating progress against agreed actions as plans progress.
To ensure all administration is completed in timely manner against deadlines and is checked for accuracy.
To represent the Growth Hub at appropriate events and contribute to the development and delivery of events targeted
at clients and partners as required.
To work with the relevant businesses closely to monitor any new jobs created/safeguarded and any GVA increase as a
result of activities undertaken

Sales and Account management skills
Project Management skills
Presentation skills both written and oral
Excellent communication and networking skills
Excellent planning, organisational and administrative skills
Well-developed IT skills, including an understanding of computerised management information systems, spreadsheets,
diary management, and e-mail.
A team player, but also a self starter
Proven critical thinking and problem solving skills
Up-to-date Sector and market knowledge
The ability to identify opportunities and to be innovative.
