High School:

Seniors- Once you have been admitted to college and have made your decision, come see Mrs. Youse to
get your name on the places you'll go banner!

Release high school softball @ 2:50.

Student Council & FBLA members who would like to attend the trip to Shryocks Corn Maze on October
18th need to sign up on the sheet located on Mrs. Moreland's door. The cost for the maze is $8.00 per
person, and students are responsible for their own transportation. We will meet at the maze at 3:00 pm.


High School Girls basketball meeting today during intervention for anyone thinking about playing
basketball this year.

Juniors and Sophomores interested in taking the PSAT test be sure to sign up with Mrs. Youse. This test
will be administered the morning of Wed, Oct 15 and costs $14.

Seniors- The American Legion will be hosting the High School Oratorical Scholarship program.
Students must prepare a speech on one of the given topics on the constitution. There are district,
state,and national competitions and awards. Please see Mrs. Youse if interested. We must
determine a local winner by November 30.
We have a limited amount of 13-14 yearbooks for sale, the cost is $40.00. Please see Mrs.
Moreland if you would like to purchase one, they will be sold on a first come basis.
Horticulture Class still has mums for sale. $7 for 9 inch pots and $14 for the 12 inch trio pots.
College Rep Visits:

10/9 Culver Stockton rep will be here during 7th hour
10/29 University of Central MO rep will be here during intervention

Seniors- The Hagan Foundation Scholarship- Deadline November 15. Go to www.hsfmo.org to apply and
review qualifying criteria.

Seniors: Missouri Cattlemen's Foundation Scholarship is due September 30. See Mrs. Youse if interested.

Wendy's High School Heisman Scholarship Competition is open for applications. Go to
wendyshighschoolheisman.com to apply by October 3rd.

Missouri Farm Bureau Ambassador Scholarship Program applications are due September 30. See Mrs.
Youse if interested.

Junior High:
JH girls basketball practice will start October 13
th
@ 3:30 in the high school gym. Make sure you have
your physical done and paperwork ready to turn in.

ALL STUDENTS:
FCA: Anyone who wants to attend Fields of Faith in Hannibal on Wednesday needs to pick up an
information and permission form from Mrs. Ensor today. There is no cost, but you might want money for a
snack. Get your permission forms back in as soon as possible so that we can arrange transportation.
We will meet at the high school at 5:30 Wednesday evening and return about 10:00.

Tomorrow is group picture day! Dont forget to bring the shirts, uniforms, etc. that you need.
