Water Treatment Facility Demolition
City of Fairfax, Missouri
Public notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be
received at Fairfax City Hall, 201 East Main, Fairfax, MO
64446 until 10:00 a.m. local time on November 10, 2014, for
the demolition of the water treatment facility described as
follows:
The demolition of the treatment facility building, clear
well, and sludge storage lagoons. Bidders shall take possession of all equipment, steel, and other salvageable materials. Concrete shall be demolished and disposed on site. The
sludge storage lagoons will be drained and backfilled. The
site will be backfilled, graded, and covered with grass seed
and straw.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be conducted at City of
Fairfax City Hall at 1:00 p.m. on November 3, 2014. Access
to the treatment facility will be made available to all bidders for their observation and inspection of the site.
Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at Fairfax City Hall, 201 East Main, Fairfax, MO 64446 at 10:00
a.m. local time on November 10, 2014.
All work is to be completed in compliance with the contract documents prepared by Schulte Engineering & Consulting, LLC. Contract documents are on file for public examination at the Fairfax City Hall, Fairfax, MO.
