Christmas is coming soon
so plan your perfect party
WERE nearly in November, Hal-
loween is here, and that can only
mean one thing Christmas is just
around the corner. There are only
a few weekends left until Christmas
2014 arrives with a bang.
And as we head into winter, the
thought of a fabulous Christmas
party could help chase those win-
ter blues away.
Being organised now is a great
way to make sure your festivity
goes with a bang.
Many venues will already be ad-
vertising their Christmas menus
and functions, and booking early
will ensure you secure your per-
fect party place.
So grab your party comrades
and get planning.
Start by discussing dates.
Getting a rough idea of suitable
dates can help when booking and
also, as diaries tend to fill up fast
for Christmas, will ensure you get
a good turnout on the day.
Next is to decide on a venue
and to decide what kind of party
is wanted.
All-in-one functions dinner
and a dance for example can
be an excellent choice for large
groups, such as a work do.
Look out for packages that offer
not only a great meal but also en-
tertainment. Many will offer good
deals for large groups.
A good meal out is a classic way
to celebrate the festive season
and nothing beats a Christmas
dinner with friends.
There are some fabulous pubs
and restaurants around to cater
for your meal, from classic turkey
and all the trimmings to Indian,
Chinese and pub favourites. Make
sure you check everyones food
preferences and any allergies or
special dietary requirements.
Booking early is also essential
to make sure you get your first
choice. It can also help to have
a longer period of time to spread
any cost involved.
Its not too early to think about
transport.
Arranging a mini-bus for every-
one or taxis can really make a dif-
ference for a night-out.
Not only does it means everyone
gets to relax and not worry about
getting home at the end of the
night, you can also ensure every-
one will get home safely too.
