Welcome Note
Hope every one is getting into the swings of things. Parents, please remember to have your
child to class on time. It is disruptive to the rest of the class when a student arrives late. Also
remember that warm up time is a very important part of class. Warm ups help to prevent injury. Also please remind students to go to the restroom before class. Now to change
gears, I am happy to say we have already completed our first competition for this year! We
have quite a few performances this month and would love for everyone to come out and show
their support. The first one is Christmas Jubilee on November 15th from 12:55-1:25 as well as
a performance during the Jags game TBA.

RECITAL
For the last 31 years, Debbies School of Dance has provided students
with an exciting performance experience through the June Recital. The
recital offers our student's a professionally directed performance that
allows them to present to their family and friends the result of a year's
hard work & dedication. A big part of the dance training process includes learning through performance. This experience helps build selfesteem. Self-assurance, and contributes to self-confidence.
Each child who wishes to participate in the recital is required to purchase a costume. The number of classes will determine the number of
costumes your child will need. We will measure each child in class and
size accordingly.

COSTUMES
The price of the costumes was sent home by the students. If you need another copy, please let the office know and we will be happy to email it to
you. The price of the costume for Preschool Classes (ages 2-4) includes a
pair of tights. The next deposit is due November 7th. All money must
be received no later than December 5, 2014 or your child's costumes
will not be ordered. It takes at least 12-14 weeks to receive costume orders and to check and distribute all costumes. There will a $15.00 late
charge per costume on any second order costumes and no guarantee on
when they will arrive and will most likely not be here by the picture dates.
All costume payments and recital fees are non-refundable!
