Supply chain:
The different categories of products are manufactured at different location and in different
factories.
The factories are located all over India in Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Ludhiana, Thirupur etc.
These factories are specialized in manufacturing particular category of products and are
associated with the company for a long time. The order is placed at the factories by releasing
purchase order and the factories produces them under the guidance of quality team who inspect
and check the garments and accessories at different level of manufacturing process.
There is a separate packaging unit in every factory where the products are packed using
different packaging material for different products.
After packing of the garments and accessories, product are packed in cartons for final delivery.
Products are sent in batches from factories to one common point which is a warehouse. The
warehouse is situated in Bangalore. The common mode of transportation is by road. Company
doesnt have its own logistics and it is provided by private courier companies. Sometimes when
it is urgent, products are couriered by air.
Once the carton reaches warehouse in Bangalore, Colorplus warehouse team takes over the
product. They have to store the products in the warehouse after checking the parcel. The
different products are then sent to different stores all over India from there. This activity is done
by the supply chain team of the company who takes care of the sorting of the products for
different stores. The quantity and type of product for each store is allocated by the retail team of
the company who does the buying as per the requirement and demand of particular product in
EBO. The allocation of different categories is done as per the sales in a particular store and the
demand of particular product in a region. According to the buying for each store, the products are
then shipped to different stores in different regions. The mode of transportation is again by road
and is done by private courier companies. The products are then received at the stores where they
are unpacked and put for display.

Warehouse:
Color plus warehouse is located in Bangalore. After manufacturing the goods are being
transported to the warehouse and from that warehouse it is distributed to the outlets all over
india.
