Hi! My name is Fiona Tan. I am 15 years old. I am an optimistic and energetic

person. My ambition is to either be an astronaut or scientist. I think travelling to
the moon or to other planets would be really fascinating. On the other hand , I
think being a scientist in interesting as I can invent things that could be of
benefit to people.
I have a few hobbies but my two favourite hobbies are blogging and playing
chess. I mostly blog about my pet rabbit , Bushy. I usually play chess with my
brother. He usually defeats me but I feel I am getting better and will defeat him
more often.
To keep fit I jog and cycle. I jog thrice a week with my friends , Damia and

Read the report below and answer all the questions.
SEPANG: When a 10-year old boys right leg was stuck in laterite mud and all
efforts to rescue him were futile, residents of Taman Mawar, Salak Tinggi called
the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Fire and Rescue Department for
help.
A call was made at 5.55 pm informing the department of the situation and
a team of six men and a fire engine were sent to the scene. The team, which
arrived at the scene 20 minutes later , took 20 minutes to pull out the boy whose
right leg was trapped knee high in the mud.
The fireman had to dig into the mud before pulling the boy out to safety. It is
understood that the mud was a result of heavy construction up the hill. The
officer in charge , Saaidon Amean , said the boy did not scream or cry . he was
in fact , very tired after trying to free himself, said Saaidon . The boy had been
with his friends playing in the area when he fell into the mud trap. He tried to
free himself for about two hours but could not do so.
Residents tried to help as well but failed to pull him out. As a last resort ,
they decided to get help from the KLIA Fire and rescue Department.
He only told us that he was thirsty and we gave him water while the rest of
us tried our best to pull him out, said Saaidon , adding that the boy was
returned to his mother , who was waiting anxiously nearby.
It is learnt that the boys father was not at home as he is working abroad.
