Dear Family and Friends,

Whether we have known each other for a long time or have not yet met. Whether we have seen each other
recently or have not been able to connect in a while. Whether we live near or far. THANK YOU for walking
alongside me and being willing to hear part of my story.
As many of you know, God has been
doing some amazing things in my life the last
few years. After studying French in Canada, I
moved to an area of sub-Saharan Africa to
live among a Muslim people group

where the Gospel was just beginning

to be heard and understood for the
first time. I planned to live there for a
significant amount of my life, sharing the
Gospel, translating the Word, and watching
God grow His Church. God, however, had other plans.

With some friends in sub-Saharan Africa.

df During the month of my one-year anniversary in Africa, the terrorist activity in my area had risen to the point
that my organization and church leadership no longer felt comfortable with me living there and asked me to
return to the US. Although it was by far one of the most difficult seasons I have ever experienced, I knew it was
the right thing to do. Most amazing of all, God has done some incredible things in the area, His Church

is spreading like crazy, and former unreached Muslims are sharing the Gospel with their
neighbors! Praise God!
I know that God still desires that I work
among an unreached people group. Did you
know that over 1/3 of the people groups of
the world are still unreached - without
access to the Gospel or Gods Word?
Unless Gods people are willing to cross
cultural, linguistic, and geographic barriers
to share the Gospel with these people, the
vast majority will live, die, and spend
eternity separated from God without ever
having had the chance to hear the Gospel.
This is heartbreaking.

I am very grateful that the leadership at my home church, Olive Branch, sees this as it is - intolerable.
During my time in Africa, Olive Branch
leadership raised up a team from within our
Olive Branch family to work among an
unreached Muslim people group in southern
Africa. When I returned, I joined this team
(which consists of my best friends- woohoo!).

We are now heading towards southern

Africa and looking forward to building
relationships, sharing the Gospel,
translating the Word, and watching God
build His Church. I cannot imagine a more
ideal situation and am eager to see what God
has in store for us.

The Olive Branch Africa team- Nick, Liisa, Eli, (and Ben not pictured). Kristine. Kim and Alex.

In order for us to embark on this adventure, we must have a large group of people committed to partnering
with us in prayer and financially. We are hoping to move to New York for a 10-month training program in July;
however, we cannot do so unless we are 100% supported by the middle of April. This is where you come in-

would you be willing to prayerfully consider partnering with my team and I in prayer and/or
financially?
I will be following up with you in the next couple of weeks to
schedule a personal time to chat. I would love to buy you a coffee
if you are near, or call if you are far, and share more about what
God is doing and how we can partner together so that Gods

name will be worshipped among one of the remaining

1/3 of the worlds people groups where His name is not
yet known. He deserves their worship! It is going to
happen! Lets connect and rejoice over this fact!
I look forward to connecting with you!
Grace and Peace,

Kristine McMillan
