V2.00R03
Version Upgrade Procedure
Notes to all Service Engineers
Input Station of R2 SUPER 700/1000 and DS-3000E (for R2 SUPER 700/1000) becomes V2.00R02 by
version upgrade using [Version upgrade CD] CD-ROM.
This procedure, described below, is measure for customers' claim about the differences in functions
and quality after upgrading Input Station PC of R2 SUPER 700/1000 or DS-3000E (for R2 SUPER
700/1000) from V1.20 or V1.21 to V2.00R02.
Be sure to read cautions described below, and then perform the upgrade from V2.00R02 to V2.00R03.
Cautions

This version upgrade procedure is limited to customers only have used V1.20 or V1.21.
Perform the version upgrade by following the procedure below, only when customers like and
want to use the functions and quality of V1.20 or V1.21.
Be sure to upgrade the version to V2.00R02 by following the "Procedure of Version Upgrade
R2 SUPER 700/1000 V2.00" or "Procedure of Version Upgrade DS-3000 for R2 SUPER
700/1000 V2.00", before performing the upgrade of this procedure.
In case of using R-EZ and/or Hyper CD-R Type2, be sure to upgrade each optional software by
following the procedures of [Appendix 1] and [Appendix 2].

Input Station of V2.00R02 has differences in functions and quality from V1.20 and V1.21.
Input Station of V2.00R03 has the same functions and quality as V1.20 and V1.21.
Please refer to "Functional Comparison List of R series" about the detailed differences in
functions and quality of them.

1 Confirmation of the version V2.00R02 installation

1)

On the home screen, click [Setup] [1F Version display], and confirm that the version of Input Station
is V2.00R02.

2 Log on as Administrator
1) Quit the application software of Input Station.
a) Click [Quit] on the home screen.
b) Click [Quit] in the closing screen.
c) When Post-operation inspection screens appear, click [Cancel] several times, and click [Quit].
2) Log on as Administrator
a) Log off KM. Click [Start] -> [Log off KM].
b) When "Log Off Windows" message appears, click [Log Off].
c) Log on as [Administrator].
Password: konicaminolta

3 Insert Version upgrade CD

Insert [Version upgrade CD] CD-ROM into CD drive of Input Station.

4 Installation of the application

1) Start Windows Explorer, and install V2.00R03 application.

*After double-clicking the EXE file, described above, please wait for a while until the installation start
screen appears.

Confirm the folder to decompress the file is [C:\] on the installation start screen. And click [OK].

5 Remove Version upgrade CD

After version upgrade is completed, remove [Version upgrade CD] from CD drive.

6 Restart Input Station PC

Restart Input Station. Click [Start] -> [Turn Off computer] -> [Restart].
Input Station and application start.

This is the end of the procedure of version upgrade.

In case of using optional software (R-EZ and/or Hyper CD-R Type2), please continue upgrading the version of
each software.

Appendix 1: Version upgrade of R-EZ

[Flow of R-EZ version upgrade procedure]

1 Remove USB key of optional software

2 Log on as Administrator

3 Insert Version upgrade CD

4 Installation of the application

5 Remove Version upgrade CD

6 Reinsert USB key of optional software

7 Restart of PC installed R-EZ

Remove USB key of optional software

1) Quit the R-EZ application software.
a) Click [Quit] on the home screen.
b) Click [Quit] in the closing screen.
c)

2) Remove USB key of optional software. (Please keep the USB key in the safe place in order not to lose it.)

2 Log on as Administrator
1) Log on as Administrator
a) Log off KM. Click [Start] -> [Log off KM]
b) When "Log Off Windows" message appears, click [Log Off].
c) Log on as [Administrator].
Password: konicaminolta

3 Insert Version upgrade CD

1) Insert [Version upgrade CD] CD-ROM into CD drive.
2) After a while, USB Key is not found. dialog appears, and click [OK].

4 Installation of the application

1) Start Windows Explorer, and install application.
LocationE: (Drive which CD was set) \ file\R2V200R03\ REZV22.EXE
*After double-clicking the EXE file, described above, please wait for a while until the installation start
screen appears.
2) Confirm the folder to decompress the file is [C:\] on the installation start screen. And click [OK].

5 Remove Version upgrade CD

After version upgrade is completed, remove [Version upgrade CD] from CD drive.

6 Reinsert USB key of optional software

Reinsert the USB key of optional software, which was removed in the step 1, into the original port.

7 Restart of PC installed R-EZ

Restart PC installed R-EZ. Click [Start] -> [Turn Off computer] -> [Restart].
This is the end of the procedure of R-EZ version upgrade.

Confirm the folder to decompress the file is [C:\] on the installation start screen. And click [OK].

5 Remove Version upgrade CD

After version upgrade is completed, remove [Version upgrade CD] from CD drive.

6 Reinsert USB key of optional software

Reinsert the USB key of optional software, which was removed in the step 1, into the original port.

7 Restart of PC installed Hyper CD-R Type2

Restart PC installed Hyper CD-R Type2. Click [Start] -> [Turn Off computer] -> [Restart].
This is the end of the procedure of Hyper CD-R Type2 version upgrade.
