Hotel Fit for Loyalty

What is tall, five stories high, and yellow and blue? You guessed it!
Hotel Le Duc, a world-class home away from home, situated in front of
Dagupan Citys widest and finest institution of learning, Lyceum-Northwestern
University, is more than just an eye-candy. This new tourism landmark
promising an accessible vantage point to other equally-important tourist
attractions of the cityalso serves as a unique training ground for the Lyceans
under the College of International Tourism and Hotel Management, giving them a
first-hand experience on how to utilize their acquired learning.
Its soft launch held last March of the year 2014, people and students
ponder upon the question What lies within its yellow and blue facade? Ulnos is
granted a glimpse into the renowned hotel by means of an overnight stay and
experience the hospitality and quality training of the tourism students. Let us
embark on a tour and discover what puts the duke in Hotel Le Duc.
Spacious Rooms
Not cramped, not stifling, nor was it a hindrance to our teenage antics, the
rooms assigned to us by the hotels management, along with the other featured
function rooms within the building, proved to be spacious. With the knowledge
that this hotels bestand only the bestis offered and opened wide for the
public, one could truly say that Le Duc could pass a new world-class hotel
classification.
Tariff rates as of July 2014
The management was kind enough to show us the rate of the rooms. With
the excellent and expectation-surpassing services given each overnight stay, one
would truly say that each cent is worth it.
Standard Room (2 Persons) Php 1,400
De Luxe Room (2 Persons) Php 1,700
Double Suite (2-4 Persons) Php 2,000
Presidential Suite (2-6 Persons) Php 4, 500
Additional Mattress Php 300
The hotels management ushered us into a De Luxe room. Complete in
every sense, from the adequate ventilation, perfectly maximized yet
proportionately balanced sorting of space and furniture, to the basic (but allimportant) toiletries, it had been a night of relaxation for us.
Even the toilet and bathroom have a remarkable architectural layout,
which, when looking for accommodations, oftentimes become a major
consideration. Set to maximize comfort with its minimal, hardly over-flashy
design, it brings to mind the phrase simplicity is beauty.

Interior Design: Royal Blue

The hotels facades dominating color, blue---fittingly chosen, one would
say, as it stands for tranquillity, wisdom, and loyaltyis reminiscent of the water
and sky. Both realms transcends even within the Hotel Le Ducs inner design,
creating a relaxing ambience which makes a visitor think only of a heavenly
relaxation enforced by the fact that the hotel is three stories higher than most
establishments near the vicinity, baring, of course, the actual university located
at its back.
Ulnos had an interview with one of its long-time students who had been
part of the Lycean family for almost ten years. When asked what he thought of
Hotel Le Duc, his response was:
Id say its a wonderful addition to the campus and a good training
ground for the tourism students. Its near, classy, and owned by the university,
so theres no need for most of them to go to far-off places and have their OJT.
Here, the likely of them encountering accidents and such are slimmer. The new
facilities would also bring them abreast in the world if innovative hotel
accommodations. Im proud that it had accommodated Yeng; another hotel, and
we wouldnt be sure of their quality.
When it comes to the fact that its one of the new additions to university
(and to the city itself), Id say Lyceum had truly frown. Then, it was about the
basics: canteen, comfort rooms, classrooms, library, teachers, gym, chapel, and
such. Now, however, we could definitely see the president and the administration
going the extra mile only for the students. I mean, they built a hotel for the
tourism students, and that says a lot. Include the other features of the university
found solely in Lyceumlike the swimming pool and the football fieldand
youve got the best there is.
Lyceum may not be as wonderful as the universities found in Manila and
the states, but were nearing there.
Indeed, Dr. Gonzalo Duque knows whats best not only for the universitys
students and staff, but for every person who would like to experience a majestic
accommodating stay. The hotel would like to extend its hand and welcome you to
experience Hotel Le Duc.
