1. Tell me about yourself?

My name is Jose Ray T. Macote, I am 28 years of age, and I am


the third among the four siblings. I am a graduate of Silliman
University with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Major in
Agronomy. After I graduated I took the licensure examination for an
Agriculturist on which I have passed.
Due to the limited opportunity of jobs in my field of study, I have
decided to apply with Non-agriculture Company, of which I was hired
with Meat Advantage Exchange, Inc. as a Credit Staff, for about 3
months after, I was then promoted as a Corporate Credit Officer.
In my more than 6 years in the company I have decided to
resigned from my work and take another challenged which is to study
law.
2. Tell me about the nature of your work?
As a Corporate Credit Officer one of my major tasked was to
conduct a periodic review on Account Receivable of each of our
customers, by analyzing if our customer violated our credit policy such,
over credit limit and terms. Another tasked was to process and make
legal documents such as Memorandum of Agreement, Contract of
Lease, Real Estate Mortgage, Chattel Mortgage, and any other
necessary company documents such as Secretary Certificate and
Board of Resolution, and lastly to litigate delinquent customers, which I
am the duly authorized representative of our company
3. Why did your resigned from your work?
With more than six years in my last position, I have decided for
career advancement, I felt that the needed to move-up my career.
4. What major challenges and problems did you face? How did you handle
them?
A long-term client was about to take their business to a
competitor. I met with the customer and was able to change how we
handled the account on a day-to-day basis, in order to keep the
business.
I just presented what we can offer and listen to his idea so we
could meet halfway so we could have a possible resolution that would
be beneficial to both parties. Ill make sure that I wont be giving any
promises to deceit the person just to have him back. At the end of the
day he will not be the only one to suffer but also us.

5. How do you handle stress and pressure?


From a personal perspective, I manage stress by reacting to the
situation, rather than to stress. That way, the situation is handled and
doesnt become stressful. I'm the kind of person who stays calm under
pressure, and handles stress fairly easily.
6. What is your greatest strength?
My being flexible and adaptable, flexible in that sense that I can
perform to my job well and supple any works assigned and I can easily
adapt to the work assigned as well as to the environment Im in.
My time management skills are excellent and I'm organized,
efficient, and take pride in excelling at my work.
